Permanent Employment Certification (PERM) Online Filing Release Notes 6/1/2023

Legacy PERM Online System:

  • Form ETA-9089 submissions are disabled.
  • Creation of new Form ETA-9089s is disabled.
  • Case re-use for Form ETA-9089 is disabled.
  • Filers in the legacy PERM online system can continue to manage submitted cases and access previously initiated cases.

PERM module in the Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG):

  • External filers may now submit their initiated Form ETA-9089 applications in FLAG.  In the Review & Submit screen, pending no errors or incomplete sections, the Submit button is now enabled.
  • External filers may link a Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) that is not in their network by entering the properly formatted full PWD case number (P-XXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX) in the Look up PWD Out-of-Network link.
